Ayesha Nasir is a qualified journalist and medical doctor and founder of ScaryAmmi which is Pakistan’s largest mothering platform with almost 300,000+ members globally, which are increasing rapidly. It is an online community for mothers to come together and help each other in matters relevant to motherhood, childcare and all mother-centric topics. As a graduate of Columbia University’s prestigious Pulitzer School of Journalism, Ayesha Nasir has vast experience in media and journalism. She has held leadership roles in various media companies such as Senior Executive Producer at Express News. Scaryammi has won numerous startup competitions including the Standard Chartered Women In Tech award! The Startup Cup Pakistan! Tie Women award, and many others.
Dr. Syed Abbas Raza
Dr. Syed Abbas Raza has a fellowship from the American College of Endocrinology and an American Certified in Endocrinology, Diabetes, Metabolism, and Internal Medicine. President of International Society of Endocrinology and Awarded Tamgha E Imtiaz by President of Pakistan. He received his medical degree from Allama Iqbal Medical College, Lahore, and was Chief Medical Resident at Atlantic City Medical Center, NJ, USA. Dr Raza is American Board Certified in Internal Medicine, and in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism.
He has presented extensively on diabetes and endocrinology throughout his career and has received numerous awards in recognition of his contributions to this field.
Dr Raza is an Executive Member (since 2004) and Past-President of the Pakistan Endocrine Society (PES) and South Asian Federation of Endocrine. He was also previously on the Board of Directors for the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists (AACE).
Wasi Shah
Wasi Shah is a renowned Pakistani poet known for his emotionally charged and romantic Urdu poetry. Born on March 25, 1981, in Sargodha, Pakistan, he has captivated audiences with his heartfelt verses, simplicity, and depth of emotions. Alongside his literary contributions, Wasi Shah is also a columnist, TV host, and a prominent figure on social media, where he continues to inspire readers and poetry enthusiasts with his eloquent expressions of love and human emotions.
Dr. Khalid Jameel
Dr. Khalid Jameel is one of the pioneers in the field of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PMR) in Pakistan. Dr. Khalid Jamil overcame his own physical handicap to become one of the leading doctors in Pakistan. He was an outstanding student, an excellent sportsman and exceled in his Matriculation and FSC (college) exams securing highest position and finally making in to the number one medical college in Pakistan; King Edward Medical College. he was awarded the student scholarship and returned to UK to eventually specialize in the field of PMR. Due to his work and in respect and honor of his contribution towards the society and special children he was awarded the title of “Big Brother” by the Governor of Punjab in 1992. For his lifetime contributions the Government awarded him with “Sitara-e- Imtiaz” in 2013. Currently he is the Dean of PMR at College of Physicians and Surgeons (CPSP) Pakistan and Head of Department PMR Mayo hospital Lahore, KEMC. r. Khalid has been the examiner, supervisor and specialty dean at the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Pakistan. He is currently the general secretary of Pakistan Society of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He also facilitates Government of Pakistan in disability board and has been an iconic figure for many non- profit organizations and individuals with special needs.
Arfa Sayeda Zehra
Arfa Sayeda Zehra is a Pakistani educationist and Urdu language expert. She completed a Master of Arts in Asian studies and a Doctor of Philosophy in History from University of Hawaii at Manoa. She is a professor in history at the Forman Christian College, Lahore. Zehra is an advocate for human development, basic human rights, and gender equality.
Amjad Saqib
Amjad Saqib is a Pakistani social entrepreneur, development practitioner, former civil servant and author. He is the founder and Executive Director of Akhuwat Foundation, which is the world’s largest Islamic microfinance organization that provides interest-free loans to the most deserving segments of society. He is the recipient of several national and international honors including Sitara-e-Imtiaz, a coveted civil award of Pakistan.
